About Alfred Brandt
Alfred Brandt practices only in the area of criminal law. Mr. Brandt has been in private practice since 1986 when he joined the law firm of Mazur & Matyjaszek, P.C., eventually becoming a partner in that law firm then renamed Mazur, Matyjaszek & Brandt, P.C., in 2002. Mr. Brandt has appeared in many District and Circuit Courts in the State of Michigan including Jackson, Lenawee, Hillsdale, Washtenaw, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Eaton, Ingham, Clinton, Ottawa, Kent, Isabella and Oakland Counties. Mr. Brandt has also argued cases before the Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court and the Federal Court in the Western District of Michigan.
Mr. Brandt received both Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Central Michigan University and graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Mr. Brandt is a member of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was named in 2015 as one of the top 100 criminal defense attorneys in the country by the National Trial Lawyers Group.
When Mr. Brandt is not working at the law firm, he is working out or playing as much golf as he can.
