Charge – Unlawful Imprisonment, Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm, Domestic Violence
On August 31, 2019, deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to Summit Township. The deputies took a report that Defendant had assaulted his girlfriend. The victim described in detail the nature of the assault. The description contained an allegation of imprisonment and strangulation. She did not exhibit injuries consistent with her statements.
On October 22, 2019, Mr. Brandt fought the charges at Preliminary Examination and all charges were dismissed.
